hi-tech_image.jpgSowton Business & Technology Centre in Exeter has installed video conferencing equipment for the benefit of its existing tenants and other businesses in the city.

The managed office provider has installed a high definition video conferencing suite into one of its meeting rooms as an extension of the services its already offers to its customers.

Sowton Business & Technology Centre offers flexible, high specification work space from fully furnished single offices with full administrative support to office suites and boardrooms, along with fast broadband, telephony services, wired and wireless connectivity, server hosting and data backup.

Helen Batson, manager of Sowton Business & Technology Centre, said: “We already offer a full range of hi-tech services and so we decided to add video conferencing to our portfolio to embrace new communications channels.

“Video conferencing has been proven as a cost-saving tool in its ability to cut travel costs while also promoting staff productivity and meeting corporate green aims. Our tenants will obviously be able to make use of these facilities but we would also like to offer them out to other businesses in Exeter who may have occasional use for video conferencing.”
